HOW TO APPLY FOR HIGH SCHOOL ADVANCED or 
ARTS PROGRAMS USING THE FOCUS PARENT PORTAL

 Important Dates & Steps:

     STEP 1: January 21, 202 - February 2, 2025

• Log into FOCUS Parent Portal
• Go to Forms
• Select HS Advanced Programs and Arts Application
• Complete application & click Submit Request

     STEP 2: February 18-21, 2025

• Log into FOCUS Parent Portal
• Notification to view pending form
• View acceptance and/or denial information
• Make final decision to select or decline a program(s)
• Click Submit & Finish

Please note: Parent(s)/guardian(s) must complete a student enrollment application with The School District of Lee County. Enrollment applications are submitted via the Focus parent portal or in person at the Student Enrollment Office. When submitted in Focus, the parent/guardian will have the opportunity to print a receipt for their records. Parent(s)/guardian(s) of students attending a private or charter school will need to visit Student Enrollment to register and enroll, complete the enrollment application, and obtain the enrollment receipt.

Cambridge/AICE Diploma Program Eligibility Requirements

• Unweighted cumulative middle school GPA 3.00 minimum
• Level 3 or higher on the most recent or PM3 F.A.S.T. ELA assessment
• Level 3 or higher on the most recent or PM3 B.E.S.T. Math assessment

Additional application requirements for students NEW to Lee County Public Schools

• A new student is an enrollee from another Florida county, from outside of the State of Florida, or from outside of the country. Lee County Charter, Private or Homeschool students are considered current Lee County Students.
• End of the year report cards for the past two years and current report card, if applicable.
• A copy of the most recent state or national norm referenced test results demonstrating a percentile ranking equitable to the Lee County student requirement.
• Copy of Student Enrollment zone application receipt.
