Club Descriptions:
AICE Student Union: AICE Student Union (ASU) is a club for Cambridge students to enjoy service activities and events, gain support from fellow students, and learn how to evolve as a leader. All Cambridge students are welcome to join and attend biweekly meetings on Tuesday, after school, in room 513.
Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA): A national Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) for young men and women in Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) education in public and private school through grade 12. FCCLA members develop skills for life through character development, creative and critical thinking, interpersonal communication, practical knowledge, career preparation and community service.
Future Educators of America (FEA): Future Educators of America is an academic club offering experience and service hours for students with an interest in teaching as a possible career. With good attendance and grades, placement volunteering at a local school is possible through Project Teach. All leadership positions are available at this time.
Gardening Club: The Gardening club offers a plethora of opportunities to everyone at Estero High. Some of the opportunities include learning about native ecology and the biology of plants, providing an organic food source for culinary students, offering inspiration/subject material for photography and other art students, and further beautifying our Estero campus. The Gardening club also offers potential volunteer service hours as well as engaging the community as a whole.
Gaming Club: Gaming Club provides an opportunity for students to meet and compete with other students that are interested in both video games and tabletop card games. Students can bring in their devices and games to play.
Gender Sexuality Alliance (GSA): Estero's GSA club is a source of strength and friendship unique in its diversity and inclusion; it is established to bring a culture of acceptance and education for ALL students. Students of all backgrounds and interests are encouraged to attend and participate in this fun-filled club that meets every Tuesday.
Interact: The Interact Club is a service club sponsored by the local Rotary club. The club participates in school-based service projects, community service projects and an international project.
Key Club: Estero High School's Key Club performs acts of service in our communities, such as cleaning up parks, collecting clothing, and organizing food drives. Students earn leadership skills by running meetings, planning projects, and holding elected leadership positions at the club, district, and international levels. Key Club International is a branch of Kiwanis International.
National Honors Society (NHS): National Honor Society is an organization that recognizes students who reflect outstanding accomplishments in the areas of scholarship, character, leadership, and service. NHS is committed to making a positive difference in the lives of individuals throughout the country, community, and school through volunteer work, fundraisers, and annual projects. We have a qualifying process in the Spring of one's Sophomore year if they have a GPA of 3.5 unweighted. Potential members must complete an application form detailing their merits in community service, special honors and awards, organizations and clubs, leadership activities, musical performance, and athletic involvement.
“On the Prowl” Student Newspaper: Estero High School’s student newspaper gives aspiring writers the opportunity to learn and apply the skills needed to be journalists in the 21st century. Students have the opportunity to have their writing published in multiple mediums.
Pathways Club: Pathways club is open to all students at Estero High School. Once a month the club meets to learn about different pathway options after high school. Guest speakers come to discuss job opportunities, career paths, educational paths, and so much more! Come to Pathways to learn about the options you have after you graduate from Estero High School!
