What is AVID?

AVID stands for Advancement Via Individual Determination. For more information, click here.

It is an elective program designed to help students with learning, study and organizational strategies that will be needed to be successful in advanced coursework in high school and in college-level courses.

It is coursework that you continue throughout your high school career with an associated elective (AVID I, II, III, IV) each year.
