To recognize and encourage academic achievement while also developing ideals such as scholarship, character, service, and leadership. To be a member of the National Honor Society you have to be a sophomore or junior with at least a 3.5 unweighted GPA in order to be eligible for membership. Those meeting this criteria will receive an application during the second semester. A Faculty Council will then vote on the applications individually and the students must receive a majority vote to be accepted in this organization. We look for well rounded students who are active in the school and community and have great leadership skills.
