To recognize and encourage academic achievement while also developing ideals such as scholarship, character, service, and leadership. Meetings are held in the cafeteria at 2 pm untill 2:30 pm on the folowing dates: Aug. 22; Jan. 17,30; Sept. 6, 19; Feb 13; Oct. 3,18,31; Mar. 5,26; Nov. 14, 28; Apr. 10, 23; Dec. 12; May 7
To be a member of the National Honor Society you have to be a sophomore or junior with at least a 3.5 unweighted GPA in order to be eligible for membership. Those meeting this criteria will receive an application during the second semester. A Faculty Council will then vote on the applications individually and the students must receive a majority vote to be accepted in this organization. We look for well rounded students who are active in the school and community and have great leadership skills.

- Runs from January 9th-27th
- Benefits the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society
- The 6th Period class that raises the most money will win lunch from Olive Garden!!
